Formerly doing business as Compuwash, the company's stock was purchased in the first quarter of 2009 by the owner of Sonny's Enterprises, Inc. — The largest manufacturer and supplier of conveyorized car wash equipment, parts and supplies in the world. The company was then moved to Florida in April. The first product release was done in June 2009, at which time the company name was changed to Autopilot Carwash Control Systems to signify the new beginning for the 'Pilot' family of products that will be the backbone of this company's offerings — Wash Pilot and Profit Pilot. Under the direction of the executive team at Sonny's, these products will continue to be enhanced to deliver the features necessary to effectively and efficiently run and promote a car wash business.
