Issue # 1

Cause:
Correction to the way the credit card was being verified when tendering a transaction.

Effect:
Select credit card transactions on the Point of Sale were not printing receipts, and the credit card processing company would state a software update was needed. This required the transaction to be saved, and then manually cleared out at a later time. The transaction would actually process the credit card, but it would not be registered on the POS side. The Line Item Detail report would not report the transaction when the credit card was not properly recognized during the initial transaction. These random transactions would only happen on certain types of Visa cards.

Solution:
The solution updates the credit card recognition as well as handling the exception in case the credit card is not recognized. This update is available and will be applied with the POS application is restarted.

 

Issue #2

Cause:
Corrections to the item list being generated on the Inventory Levels Report. 
Effect:
Deleted items were showing up in the Inventory Levels report. If an inventory item was deleted from the system, it would still be displayed on the report.

Solution:
The solution modifies the files associated with the report and verifies that inactive items no longer show up on the Inventory Levels Report.

NOTE:
If Inventory Information under the Items tab is not utilized, the Inventory Levels report will not appear.
